July Sephora Birthday Gift!

The July Birthday Sephora Beauty Insider Gift from Benefit. I love that each year for your birthday you receive a FREE gift from a huge makeup brand!

Inside you got a They're Real Mascara & Watt's Up.

This packaging is very clean an sharp. Benefit gave a lot of product (more than I was expecting!)

The Mascara also seems very nice! I think the brush and the formula look like they have good quality.

Hope you enjoyed!

Mascara

Have you ever had the overwhelming feeling when you walk into the store to buy mascara? Let me walk you few my recent mascara purchases and tell you the pros and cons of each purchase.

First would be the Maybelline New York Great Lash Mascara. This is an amazing product which I will be repurchasing. I love this mascara because it does not clump your eyelashes and gives them a great boost!

The Illegal Length Mascara was amazing and truly made your eyelashes longer! But it did have a downfall. The package (as you can tell from the picture) soon was coming off on my hands which was not good!

The next is a mascara from Maybelline New York is the One by One Volume Express Waterproof Mascara. This is perfect with the warm weather! I will be rocking this mascara in just a few days for MDW!

Next is the ULTA BountiFULL Lashes; lash fortifying mascara. I was not a huge fan of this mascara. I found that the formula always made my lashes clumpy :(

Well that is all on my comparison on buying mascara! Hope you enjoyed and as always see you tomorrow!

Katy

May Makeup and Hair Basket Follow Up

So for a follow up on my recent video I decided I would show you a more in detail look at the products in my May Makeup and Hair Basket Video.

Overview:

First I have my eye brow tweezer. Which was a gift from Christmas.

I have a benefit foundation primer sample from Sephora which I am loving! I am definitely going to make a purchase when I finish this sample!

The e.l.f. concealer is a good affordable coverage concealer. It is easy to throw in your purse or backpack because it is very durable.

The eyelash curlier was a christmas present from my brother from target. I absolutely love it! Whenever a friend comes over they always love it!

This is an all time favorite eyeshadow. It is Lancome's Timeless Taupe. It is simple and easy in the morning if you do not have a lot of time to do your makeup just to put on or if you have more time to add and do a full makeup look!

NYX Stick Blush in 06 Orchid. I love this product. It is perfect for school or on the go. It is easy, small, and well built enough for you to put it in your purse or backpack.

This is my current foundation: The Loreal Paris Visible Lift Line Minimizing Foundation in 107 Natural Beige. Along with this product I also brought the powder to go along. I love both and think they work as a great combo!

This is the Loreal Paris Visible Lift Paris Powder in 172 Light. This goes along with the foundation pictured above.

The Wet and Wild Mega Sticks Lip Gloss in 564A Cherish is a recent favorite. Have only been wearing it a few days but have gotten a lot of complements on it so far!

Loreal Paris Nourishing Nude Lipstick is a BIG FAVORITE! I love this product and will be repurchasing! I only have two uses left so I will have to get to the store soon!

CVS Eyeshadow palette I got from my mom for Christmas. I have talked about it in previous videos. It came in a kit with lipsticks, blushes, eyeshadows, and all fun makeup types of makeup! I have taken this on road trips because the colors are perfect for a day to day look!

The last product is another huge favorite which is the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara! I am going to repurchase this item too :)

Hope you enjoyed an more detail view on my May Makeup Basket! See you tomorrow!

Katy

Vanity Tour

Hey everyone! Today I decided I would show you what I keep on my vanity. I keep all my makeup in a basket which I put on my vanity. (Click to watch May Makeup Basket Video)

Overview:
I generally keep my lotions and brushes together then my hair products on the opposite side with my fancy perfumes in the middle.

Lotion/Brushes:
This is the side where I grab for a lot in the morning when I am getting ready because I start to pull out all of my everyday makeup brushes. The first product I have on the left is my makeup remover; Sephora Instant Eye Makeup Remover. Next I have the Secret Wonderland Body Lotion from Bath and Body Works in a travel size. I also have the be somebody lotion which I received as a present. Next I have the e.l.f. Daily Brush cleaner, Marshmallow Cocoa Shea Butter Body Lotion, Daily Makeup Brushes, and Aloe Vera for the summer days from CVS.

Perfume:
In the center of my vanity I have my two fancy perfumes of the moment. The first perfume is Oh, Lola! by Marc Jacobs. The second perfume is Peace Love Juicy by Juicy Couture.

Hair:
Starting with the left I have the New Image Hair Spray, Paul Mitchell Fast Drying Sculpting Spray and Sculpting Foam, CHI Iron Guard, TRESemme Fresh Start and No Frizz Shine Spray, and Garnier Fructis Leave in Conditioner. In front this is a new purchase, the Olay Fresh Effects Makeup Removal Cloths. I have very sensitive skin so I will be trying that out soon and will be doing a review of makeup removers I have tried for sensitive skin.

Thats all for today and will see you tomorrow! I hope you enjoyed this post!
